Privacy policy
Last updated: 8 November 2026
This policy explains what personal data Camping Neretva collects through campingneretva.ba, why we need it and what rights you have. We only collect what we need to answer you and to look after your stay.
Who is responsible
Camping Neretva
Sjeverni Logor, 88000 Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Email: info@campingneretva.ba
If you have any question about your data, write to us at the address above.
What we collect and why
- Reservation request: your name, email, phone number, arrival and departure dates, number of guests, children and dogs, type of vehicle or tent and your optional message. We use this to check availability, confirm your booking, send you the confirmation and prepare your stay.
- Rafting sign-up: your name, email, phone number, the tour date and the number of people. We use this to organise the tour and to let you know when it is confirmed.
- Chat: the messages you send us and the name you give, if any. We use them only to answer your questions.
- Check your booking: the booking reference you enter, to show you the status of your booking.
We process this data because you asked us for a booking, a tour or an answer (steps before and for a contract), and to meet legal obligations such as guest registration on arrival.
Cookies and browser storage
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site keeps a few small technical entries in your browser's storage, for example so that an open chat continues where you left off and so that a notice you closed stays closed. They are never used to identify you for marketing.
Visitor statistics
To see how many people visit the site and which pages are useful, we use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics service. It does not use cookies, does not follow you across other websites and does not store your IP address. We only see totals, such as the number of visits, the pages viewed, the country, the type of device and how many booking requests were sent.
Spam protection
To stop automated spam, the site gets a short-lived technical token from our server when it opens and checks how fast forms are sent. Our server also temporarily keeps the IP address of requests to limit abuse. This is not used for anything else.
Services from other companies
- Umami: the statistics service described above, which receives anonymous technical data about each page view.
- Google Maps: the map in the contact section is loaded from Google. When the map loads, Google receives your IP address and technical data from your browser. See Google's privacy policy.
- Links to Google reviews, park4night and Instagram: these open the other site only when you click them. Their own privacy policies apply there.
- Hosting and email: the website, our booking system and our email run with our web hosting provider, which stores the data on our behalf and may not use it for its own purposes.
Fonts and images are served from our own server, so no data is sent to font providers.
How long we keep your data
We keep reservation and rafting data for as long as needed to handle your stay or tour, and afterwards only as long as the law requires us to (for example for guest registration and accounting). Chat messages and requests that did not lead to a stay are deleted when they are no longer needed.
Who can see your data
Only the camp staff who handle bookings and the people who keep our system running. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone for marketing. We pass it to authorities only where the law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what data we hold about you and give you a copy,
- correct data that is wrong,
- delete your data, unless the law requires us to keep it,
- stop or limit using it, or object to its use.
Write to info@campingneretva.ba and we will answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the data protection authority: in Bosnia and Herzegovina this is the Personal Data Protection Agency, and if you live in the EU you can contact the authority in your country.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
